Lesley Stahl Has $100k Worth of Bling Burgled!

A burglar pretending to be a construction worker made off with roughly $100,000 worth of jewelry and electronic gear from CBS News reporter Lesley Stahl's New York apartment in broad daylight. Gone in 60 minutes!

The New York Post reports that the man posed as a construction worker to gain access to Stahl's home on January 25. He broke a patio door and ransacked her apartment. The thief reportedly stole several diamond watches, a pearl necklace, earrings, gold and silver necklaces and a laptop computer.

32. I hope the burglar stole all the horrible costume jewelry chandelier earrings that this woman wears on 60 Minutes every week. What is that? Her taste is incredibly bad for a woman in her position.
