The creator of "Entourage" is vowing to put a stop to the gay and racial "jokes" being thrown around on the set of his show, after one of the stars revealed he's "occasionally" targeted ... and unhappy about it.
Rex Lee -- who plays Lloyd on the show -- was out in L.A. yesterday, where he claimed certain members of the crew "occasionally" make fun of his ethnicity and sexuality on set. Rex added, "I try not to let it bother me."
After Lee's admission, the show's creator Doug Ellin told TMZ he's "shocked and horrified" to hear about the situation and "will be speaking to everybody before we start filming again in March. It's not something condoned or acceptable."
Ellin also told us he already spoke to Lee -- and during the convo, Rex re-confirmed that crew members had made "insensitive gay jokes."
Ellin claims he's now going to lay down the gauntlet, telling Rex if it happens again, the culprit will be fired.

Red carpet interviews are for sissies.
We stopped Mark Wahlberg on his way to the Emmys -- in the middle of traffic, no less -- to talk a little smack about the NY Jets beating his beloved New England Patriots.
Losing was the theme of the day for Mark -- "Entourage" lost out to "30 Rock" for best comedy.

Adrian Grenier showed off his unworked out body and hairy backside in Miami yesterday.
The 33-year-old actor is a huge A-list star ... on "Entourage."

Mark Wahlberg definitely took notice when Gisele visited Tom Brady on the "Entourage" set a few days ago, but Marky Mark -- the respected gentleman that he is -- knew better than to talk about another man's wife in public.

Our photog made a pee-line for Marky Mark outside Katsuya last night -- and unleashed a stream of questions about the shots of Mark watering the green with his own personal hose.
He wasn't relieved by the Q's -- and by the end of it all, he told our guy to "go to church!"

Mark didn't find it funny when "SNL's" hilarious "Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals" skit first aired -- but his friends clearly did, because that's how they say good bye to the actor these days -- "Say hi to your mother for me!"

After a night of partying inside Hyde nightclub, the dude who plays Ari's whipping boy assistant got all financial on us when we asked how much jack the crew pulls in saying, "I live comfortably and I bet everybody else makes more than me ... so I think everyone's getting paid a lot."
Oh ... and he also made out with his boyfriend.

Villa had one hell of last call last night! Patrons, including Emmanuelle Chriqui, were forced out into the streets when someone supposedly let off some pepper spray inside the club.
Other than a bunch of coughing -- everybody was fine.
