Sad but true ... the woman accused of stalking Justin Timberlake has already been banned from getting anywhere close to the boys from Metallica -- the rockers got a restraining order against her back in March.

The docs were filed in L.A. County Superior Court by drummer Lars Ulrich, who requested Karen Jane McNeil stay at least 150 yards away from all of the members of the band, their families and the people who run the Metallica fan club.
Timberlake was granted a restraining order against McNeil last week after claiming she had been coming to his home, entering through the gate and refusing to leave.
Axl Rose also had issues with McNeil beginning in 1995 -- she was eventually sentenced to a year in prison for violating a court order to stay away from the G 'N' R frontman.

The woman accused of "stalking" Justin Timberlake has a Guns N' Roses connection -- a judge had already banned her from getting near Axl Rose.

Karen McNeil, who Justin calls an "obsessed mentally unstable celebrity stalker," was already sentenced to a year in prison after repeatedly disobeying a court order banning her from coming within 300 yards of Axl's property.
At the time, she told officials she was the Guns N' Roses frontman's wife and communicated with him telepathically.
The pestering didn't stop with jail though -- McNeil reportedly continued to send Axl letters from behind bars.

Here's Tokio Hotel bassist Georg Listing today in Madrid (left) -- and Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose, circa 1980 (right).

One released their first album in 1987 -- the other was born then.
We're just sayin'.

Axl Rose is accusing Dr Pepper of doing the same thing he did for nearly 17 years: Screwing people out of what they were promised.

Rose is accusing Pepper of profiting off the Guns N' Roses name, after the soda company's website malfunctioned during their free Dr Pepper giveaway on Sunday. The 20 oz. handouts were a promise made by Pepper if "Chinese Democracy" ever hit the shelves.
Axl's lawyers are demanding full-page apologies in four major newspapers, an extended period of time to collect on the free suds and payment for unauthorized use the GN'R name.

Hoping the reclusive rock star won't drop dead before he can finish his long-awaited album, Dr Pepper is begging Axl Rose to finally release GNR's "Chinese Democracy."
Here's the deal - the good Dr will prescribe everyone in America (except estranged guitarists Slash and Buckethead) a free can of Dr Pepper if Axl gets it together and releases the album sometime, anytime, in 2008. No lies --TMZ spoke to media reps for Dr Pepper -- they confirmed the authenticity of the offer 100%.

Axl Rose (memba him?) did not perform at Live Earth Rio and wants to make sure his remaining fan knows why!
In a ridiculous press release, the Guns N' Roses frontman whines about why he (or the band) did not perform at the Live Earth concert in Rio. Um ... cuz no one cares?!
Rose points out that he was not asked to perform at the benefit concert "until the last couple of weeks," and the band was already on tour in Australia and other "sold-out dates" in Japan. Really?! Then Axl says promoters and Al Gore himself (?!) asked Rose to perform with Lenny Kravitz, but Kravitz suddenly became injured and canceled. Fast thinking Lenny! Unbeknownst to Axl, Kravitz miraculously recovered and recommitted to the Rio concert. Rose states, "I was not informed that Lenny's performance was reconfirmed until our own explorations and in following the media surrounding the event today." Snap!
Rose finally states that he begged offered to play at nearby Live Earth events in Japan or Australia, "but the offer of our involvement was declined." Welcome to the jungle!

Perhaps this proves that butter really does make everything smoother and creamier, even for a famously prickly rock star and an ex-aspiring-rapper on the remake.
Strange banquette-fellows, Axl Rose and Kevin Federline, both alighted upon downtown celebriteria Butter on Monday night, striding quite proudly past the shivering masses. (Would someone please tell Axl that cornrows, particularly cinnamon-colored ones, lost stylistic currency last century?)
Speaking of shivering, our intrepid lensman also braved the mid-winter chill to catch Sienna Miller (sans Diddy) and "Factory Girl" co-star Guy Pearce ducking into the Hotel Chelsea, possibly to re-enact the days of Warhol at the "Factory" after-bash.

As each band came, played, and exited the stage throughout the day of the KROQ Inland Invasion this past Saturday, the crowd began to fill the pavilion. It was as if nervous anticipation of the show's headliner dampened the crowd's reaction to fan favorites like MUSE, 30 Seconds To Mars, Rise Against, and Alice in Chains.

As 14 years of waiting for the return of Guns N' Roses was about to climax, the fans that ventured to the small California town of Devore started to rage. Fires burned upon the ridge and bottles were strewn about in true Redding Fest fashion. The clichés started with Axl arriving almost an hour after his scheduled set time. Just as the crowd began to get restless and security rushed in, the lights from the stage ignited the sky and the crowd was asked the question "Do you know where the f**k you are?", and the first chords of 'Welcome to Jungle' seemed to make the world better again.
The GN'R guys played at hit-filled set -- exactly what the crowd was hoping for. It was, however, announced today that they will be postponing US tour dates until later this year. Is the Axl of old starting to rear his ugly head? No, just getting ready to do this tour thing the right way.

The new Guns "N Roses record "Chinese Democracy" has been a work in progress for nearly 7 years. According to our man Scott over at Stereogum, Axl's manager first unveiled plans for the record way back in November of 1999 and said the record would be out in 2000. Year after year went by and no record. This year, we at least have seen some concerts and more Axl sightings, including his awkward appearance at the VMAs last month. But, still no record.
We're now hearing that Axl promises to get the record finished by the end of this year. As the Farkers would say, pigs all over the world are getting ready to fly if that actually happens. Regardless of the actual release date, Axl is quoted as telling New York magazine that the record won't go out until he feels it is truly ready to be sold to fans:
"It's not about being a control freak," he said. "It's about being maybe smart enough to go, 'No, that's a bad idea.' That's all it's about - keeping the ability to at least have a shot as opposed to something that's just an obvious disaster. I want to make a good record. I don't want to throw a brick. This cannot be Shaq at the free-throw line."
Ouch no reason to slam Shaq! Seriously though, If Axl wanted to make a good record, he really should have sent his old pal Slash a holiday card. Of course, you do have to respect Axl for not rushing something to market before it is ready. Maybe K-Fed can take a lesson...

Guns N' Roses star Axl Rose fell ill during the final show of the band's European tour after a doctor had advised the singer not to perform. Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, who earlier joined the band on stage for a version of "My Michelle," took Rose's place and completed the concert at London's Wembley Arena.

Axl had been diagnosed with low blood pressure and low blood sugar earlier that day after performing at Wembley Arena, followed by a surprise show at the city's Cuckoo Club. He succumbed to illness during the band's last performance of the night after being advised by doctors not to do the show -- his response to that suggestion was "f*** that."
"I approached this last show with equal parts determination, obligation, responsibility and insanity," he said. "It was an amazing night." The singer said afterwards that the band had "an amazing tour."
Rose managed two hours of the show, with Bach filling in on the mic for part of the final two songs: Night Train" and "Paradise City."
"I want to thank everyone in Europe and the UK for inspiring us and for giving us the opportunity to play for them," Axl said after the show.
GNR hits the U.S. beginning in September.

Axl Rose made headlines not too long ago for his now infamous spat with designer Tommy Hilfiger. Last week he scored major ink for his recent "scuffle" with a hotel security guard where he allegedly bit the guard on the leg. Axl's camp is speaking out to tell their side of the story saying the police mistreated Axl and that reports of the leg biting were overstated.
MTV.com is reporting that according to a statement from Rose's manager, Merck Mercuriadis, Swedish authorities "continually threatened us over a 12-hour period with between five days and three weeks incarceration without bail if Axl did not 'cooperate.' " Mercuriadis said fans should not take the police report - which had Rose arguing with a woman and hitting and biting a security guard who tried to break it up - at face value. He said Rose was basically "held for ransom" after being "accosted" by the security guard at the hotel and manhandled by the arresting officer, who caused him to lose a valuable bracelet. Mercuriadis also said Rose was held down by five police officers while in custody as a doctor tried to take blood to administer a drug test three separate times.
It's tough being Axl these days. But, in the rare "good news" out of the Guns 'N Roses camp these days, Axl did show off his nice guy side in New York before leaving for Europe. Axl was staying at Trump Tower and a street performing drummer was playing on the street below. The drumming kept Axl from getting some needed shut-eye so his rep went down to get the guy to go away. Money didn't work, but eventually the street performer convinced Axl's people to take his tape up to the singer. Amazingly, Axl sent word that the performer could open for Guns 'N Roses if he only went away. Axl kept his promise and for one night the street performer got his shot at the big stage. Very cool!

STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) -- Axl Rose has been arrested for allegedly biting a hotel security guard during a fight.
Swedish police say Rose is being held on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard.
Swedish tabloids say the fight started when the guard tried to break up an argument with a woman in the lobby.
Guns N' Roses had played a concert in Stockholm the night before and band members reportedly had been partying afterward.
A police spokeswoman says Rose was "too intoxicated" to be questioned. A prosecutor will decide whether to press charges.

Perpetually late rocker Axl Rose kept a London audience waiting two hours past the scheduled start time for a show last night at the Hammersmith Apollo. Some concertgoers, afraid to miss the last trains, were forced to leave halfway through the set in order to make it home, risking not seeing Axl and company again for years.

The venue: Rosario Dawson's birthday party at Plum. The contenders: Axl Rose, front man of the newly arisen 'Guns & Roses' and Tommy Hilfiger, living fashion brand.
Axl told his side of the story to KROQ's Kevin & Bean morning show early Friday morning, and according to him the scrap started when Axl politely asked Tommy to move his date's drink so it wouldn't get spilled. That's when Tommy allegedly went off, "smacking" the singer in the arm and cursing at him. Axl reports that he kept a cool head, and after Hilfiger's own security dragged him out, Axl and his band played a great acoustic set.
Or maybe not.
